‘GIANTS’ is a track that’s very sure of itself. Produced by Grammy Nominated Producer Mark Needham (known for Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Walk The Moon, Pink), the single sends a message that they can outshine anyone who doubts them by working together, and they couldn’t be more correct.
This song will give you the motivation to get out and do whatever you want to do as long as you’ve got people who have your back and support you.
“Reflecting on the thematic nature of the single, the band says, ‘Giants’ is about the feeling you get when you accomplish something as a team or with a community. Sure, you’re a bad arse on your own, but sometimes it can be more empowering to recognize that you’re even mightier as a collective.”
The track gives listeners a sense that ROCKETS is aiming for the stars, and this song is the acceleration that they needed.
Expect to see a music video for the track sometime this year, we can’t wait to see and share it!

It’s been a while since we’ve heard much from Simple Plan. Aside from an update that the new album is in the process of being made, and a tour announcement, it’s been years since the last release. But as it turns out, it was worth the wait.
‘Where I Belong’ is a track that has a clear message. Simple Plan are on track and exactly where they are meant to be. They’re back to their pop-punk roots in collaboration with two other iconic pop-punk bands, State Champs and We The Kings, who will both be joining SP on tour.
As a long-time fan of SP I was a little concerned with the musical direction they were heading in, but if this is any indication of the general sound of the album, I think it’s going to please A LOT of fans, myself included. THE BOYS ARE BACK!

The new single, by promising 21 year-old has been shortlisted for the 2019 Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition alongside a number of notable figures such as The Veronicas, Dean Lewis and Zedd.
It’s obvious to see why ‘Battered’ received the positive attention that it did considering the powerful message behind the track. It details the struggle of being stuck in an abusive relationship and not feeling strong enough to leave. David’s voice tells the story, starting softly and building into the decision where it’s time to leave.
Watch the music video for the track here. It is beautifully created with a bittersweet ending.
If you loved this single as much as I did, make sure to check out David’s single ‘Nervous’ here, it’s the best music video i’ve seen in a while!
Aaaand if you loved ‘Nervous’ too, check out his other music and catch him on his ‘Chapter Two Tour’. He’ll be visiting Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne. For ticket information, visit his website davidtaylormusic.com.au
The video for this one is a little emotional, and by the comments left on the video it’s fair to say that we’re not the only ones that had tears in our eyes.
The music video shows clips from friends, fans and strangers writing down what they wished they could tell someone who they’d lost contact with. Simply put, it’s a beautiful message. It was probably a therapeutic exercise too.
Either way, With Confidence are continuing to showcase not only their musical talent, but also their ability to connect and relate to fans.

You may know him as the frontman of Call The Shots, but in recent times he’s traded his pop-punk sound for some country classics, and believe me, he’s killing it. I would definitely not consider country to be in my top genres, but there’s something about Josh’s sound that makes me want to turn up the volume and sing along, and maybe even wear a cowboy hat while doing so! Josh has already accomplished so much since the genre transition, and we can’t wait to see what else is in store for 2019!
No matter who you are, you can relate to this video whether you’ve had to fill up your car with just enough petrol to get you where you need to go, or you’ve attended a gig just because it was free. Either way, you’re not alone.
The music video is a reminder to always make the most out of your situation, even when you feel like you’re just scraping by… And to always keep an eye out for that silver lining!
